Who we are

MedZ (“we”, “us”) operates this platform to support healthcare-field students and professionals across the MENA region. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. To complete your student profile you provide your age, phone number, college, and university. We also store the events and content you interact with.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or ask to be notified about MedZ Education, we store your email address for that purpose only.

How we use your information

We use your data to create and manage your account, personalize your dashboard, register your interest in events and programs, and send updates you have opted into. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the platform: Google for authentication, Cloudinary for image hosting, and Sentry for error monitoring. Error reports are scrubbed of personal data before they are sent. These providers process data only on our behalf.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and protect forms against abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may view and update your profile at any time from your dashboard, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as required by law.

Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), a strict content-security policy, rate limiting, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
